Cheeca Lodge is located in Islamorada, Florida, halfway down the Florida Keys and 90 minutes by car from Miami International Airport right at Milemarker 82.

Our Florida resort is also accessible by private aircraft via Tamiami Airport southwest of Miami, or Marathon Airport, 30 miles south on the Keys Overseas Highway.

Directions from Miami International Airport to Cheeca Lodge.

• When exiting the airport, keep right and follow the signs to Le Jeune Road, Coral Gables and Florida Highway 836 West.
• On Le Jeune Road, stay in the right lane.
• Merge onto Florida Highway 836 West, and go West for approximately 3 miles.
• Merge onto Florida Highway 826 South via the exit from the left lane.
• Stay in the two left lanes, and continue onto 874 South towards Homestead.
• 874 South becomes Florida’s Turnpike South.
• You will go through 2 tolls.
• Continue South until the Florida Turnpike ends, and the off-ramp will take you directly onto US-1 South at the intersection with NE 1st Avenue.
• Continue south on US-1, which in the Florida Keys becomes Overseas Highway. Approximately 46 miles.

• The Florida Keys also uses Mile Markers to indicate distance from Key West to the Florida mainland. Cheeca Lodge is located exactly at Mile Marker 82.

Two Hours 15 Minutes -107 miles

• Take 595 West to the Florida Turnpike South (Exit 54) and continue until the Turnpike ends.
• The Turnpike empties onto US Highway 1 in Florida City, at the entrance to the Florida Keys.
• Stay on US Highway 1, heading south until you see Mile Marker 82 on the left-hand side of the road (ocean side).
• Look for the large American Flag flying on the left side of the highway and a sign for the entrance to Cheeca Lodge & Spa.

Directions from Marathon Airport (MTH)
33 minutes - 30 miles

• When leaving the airport turn right (south) on Overseas Highway (US Highway 1).
• Make a U-Turn at 92nd Street Ocean and head North on Overseas Highway (US Highway 1).
• Look for the large American Flag flying on the right side of the highway and a sign for the entrance to Cheeca Lodge & Spa.

Directions from Key West International Airport (EYW)
Two Hours - 82 miles

• Start out going West on Faraldo Circle toward South Roosevelt Boulevard (US Highway A1A) for 0.2 miles.
• Turn Left on S. Roosevelt (US Highway A1A) and continue for 1.5 miles.
• Turn slight right onto Overseas Hwy (US 1) and continue North 80 miles.
• Look for the large American Flag flying on the right side of the highway and a sign for the entrance to Cheeca Lodge & Spa.
